Re: I can't get my screen saver to apply
Easiest would be to right click on the desktop and goto properties and then screensaver tab...by default the apply tab is grayed out. You need to select a screen saver from the dropdown and your apply button will become active

Hi, go to start- Control panel- personalization. Click here and check if the screen saver is turned off. It is located on the lower right corner. Click on it to turn the screen saver back on. This is for windows 7.
If you are running XP go to Start- Control panel- Display. Click on the display icon and there is a tab that says screen saver. Click here and chose your screen saver.
i believe that you go to the picture that you want to use as your screensaver
right click the picture and go down to something like use as desktop background
or use as screen saver and if it asks you to save or apply please do so
Hello, maybe it's on your screensaver, so to change or disable your screensaver, move your mouse pointer to a blank part of the desktop. Right-click the mouse button, and scroll down to 'properties'. Left-click on 'properties'. This opens up 'display properties' . You will see some tabs along the top of this box, select 'Screen Saver' and you will see a screen saver drop-down box. Make a mental note of the current settings and try selecting a different one. Then left-click 'Apply' , then 'OK' Regards, nicam49
You can right click on any open area of the desktop to get display options. Find the screen saver tab and preview the screen savers until you find the one you lost. Once found apply it and click ok. Then go to start or windows icon in bottom left. Then select control panel wint he windows utility menu. Once there go to performance and maintenance. select power options and adjust acordingly. To activate screen saver right clik on the desktop go for properties click on screensaver tabselect screen saver adjust the time to 5 and click on apply and ok button. so that ur screen saver is activated to the selected time.
To set up your screensaver, right click on your desktop and choose Properties. Choose the Screen Saver tab. In the drop down menu for Screen saver, make sure something is selected instead of (None). Next click the Preview and it will give you a glimpse of what the screensaver you chose will look like. Move the mouse to get out of it and select apply if you like that one or choose a different one.
Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel, then select "Display", then select the "Screen Saver" tab on top. In the "Screen Saver" section, use the drop down menu to select the screen saver you want (you can click on the "Preview" button to the right to see what each screen saver looks like before applying it)
