You need to mod your PS2 for that like adding a mod chip.

Corrupt file comes up when i put memory card in.

Start your PS2 with no game in the disc tray and then select your memory card then delete all of the files and then restart your system. Another thing you can do is put an audio CD in the PS2 and then go to your browser and go into your memory card and try deleting it files. Reformat your memory card

New ps1 mem card wont formaton ps2...

I have read that some manufacture PS1 memory cards will not work properly on the PS2. I would suggest trying another PS2 to see if it's a problem with your specific PS2. If the memory card doesn't pop up on the browser screen of another PS2, it could be defective or incompatible. If it does work on another PS2, it could be something weird going on with your memory card slot on your PS2.

My playstation keeps saying to put in a memory card.. even though I have done

did you try reading the memory card without any game discs put in via the ps2 menu?

is your memory card working properly? could be a corrupted memory card or a faulty memory card slot.
try putting a friend's memory card on that same slot.
if it works... then your memory card is gone bad...
if it doesnt work...then your memory card slot has gone bad.

else try putting your memory card in your friend's ps2, see if that ps2 reads your memory card. if it does...then your memory card slot has gone bad.

PS2 Wallpaper

Hi,
This is something i,ve never Done.
But from what i,ve read, there must be some way to select the item, then press a button to select as backdrop.
the wallpapers are usually 800 x 600 pixels, so i,d assume any picture or similar, must be the same size.
heres a link for you to some ps2 wallpapers.
http://www.ps2review.co.uk/Others/Wallpaper.htm
And another link, for more wallpapers with basic instructions:-
http://www.allps2.net/wallpapers.html
Stating right click set as background.
I hope this helps you, thankyou for your previous rating.
Best Wishes Mike @ Compurepair.

Copying games from PS2HDD to PS2 HDD using enclosure

Yep, the program you want is called WinHiip (easily googleable) Its a special program that reads PS2 Hard Drives only. DO KEEP IN MIND: you must have either an enclosure or put it on the IDE/SATA cable on your computer so your BIOS will detect it. WINDOWS WILL NOT DETECT THESE PS2 FORMATTED HARD DRIVES. However that does not matter, as long as your BIOS sees it. If your bios sees it, all is good, boot into windows and load WinHIIP. It will detect it. If you're using an enclosure then it really doesn't matter. Plug that into your USB port and turn it on. Your plug and play will recognize the enclosure. After windows sees it turn on WinHIIP and choose the "Select Drive" button and you should see your hard drive in the list. Then it's just a matter of choosing the "Copy Drive" option. Or take each out by it's own. Meaning "Extract Image/s" This will save them as ISO's on your computer then you just pop in your new drive and turn on WinHiip again and "add images" Back onto the new hard drive.
