Question about Kirby Ultimate G Bagged Upright Vacuum
Hi I have a problem with my kirby a black wire that is attached to one of the carbon brushes has come off from somewhere. please help
I know this is forever away, but I wanted the answer to be completed.
The black brush lead wire attaches to the foot switch. It probably got pulled out when the unit was disassembled. Look at the side of the switch and where the power cord connects, you'll see 2 holes. The black wire for the light goes in one hole, the black brush lead wire goes in the other.

There should be another wire to which it attaches nearby. If you cannot find it, do not try to 'invent' a repair...get help.
