Hi,
I have been working on these 2 related issues non-stop for days now.....I really hope you can help me:
I am working in a spreadsheet created with Lotus 1-2-3, Release 9 for Windows. I am using an HP AMD desktop with XP Professional OS.
I have created several radio buttons (placing one button per row within a designated column of the spreadsheet) Each button is hyperlinked to its own specific web addresses. The radio buttons work fine and there is nothing wrong with the links.
PROBLEM: The column is included in the range selected for print, but no matter what I try, the buttons will not print. The range is printed, but the rows are blank;
PROBLEM 2: When I select the radio button and open its drawing properties, the options are shaded (or grayed out) and not abled for selection. Per the user HELP content, I have verified, over verified, and over, over, verified that the workbook cells, sheet cells, range cells, and individual cells are all unlocked and are not protected.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Linda

Do Alt Print Screen and the paste into wordpad the print it
Hi,
If I may add to the other posted solutions:
To my recollection, Lotus 1-2-3 suppresses the printing of a row if the first character is a pipe character/vertical bar (|), the vertical bar probably won't be visible in the worksheet grid; look at the cell address along the top of the window. Pls verify that no pipe character(s) are embedded somewhere in the range you would want printed.
Alternately, to verify whether the cells/range are hidden, highlight all of the cells in question, right-click and select "Range Properties" (from the pop-up menu), click on the "Security tab" (key icon) and verify that there is no check mark in the Hide Cell Contents checkbox.
Hope this be of additional help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
Would you be willing to send me your file so I can look at it? [email protected]
1) The column and row labels of the currently selected cell are highlighted in ..... If you highlight a range to be printed, this print area is ignored.
2) have you associated the button with a event?
Thanks
Sergio
If you are doing web designing then i suggest you to use the softwares like front page, coffee cup,hot dog...
this coffee cup,hot dog are very famous softwares used for web designing... you can simply insert some default button and give links without writing scripts the scripts will be loaded by itself it is purely GUI based.. and u can insert your own graphical designed buttons etc..there will be many other options available...
front page is available in ms-office by default.. it depends on which version you have installed...
Hi hope you load office 2007 (vista) you try to print excel some data 1st
if your print ok then try to Lotus 1-2-3 Release 9 for Windows update ....
if you try Lotus 1-2-3 Release 9 for Windows setup properly .....
To eliminate the Welcome and New Workbook boxes from opening when 1-2-3 launches, choose File, User Setup, and 1-2-3 Preferences. Under the General tab, deselect Show....then print

HP 2410 V All in one
I would appreciate further help from any assistants who may have expertise with this software. It is not a printer problem. Thank you. DixieDoodle
I am not a novice user. I have tried everything I can think of. This answer must come from an experienced Lotus 1-2-3 member. Thank you.
Nothing helpful.
I'll try one last time to define my problem:
I have created a huge spreadsheet in Lotus 1-2-3.
The huge spreadsheet contains one column of buttons which were created using the "create" command.
Each button links to its own specific website.
When using the spreadsheet, the buttons are visible, and all buttons work. (Each goes directly to the website it is set-up to go to.)
NOW........
I go through the page preview and set-up command.
Everything is visable and correct on the screen...... EXCEPT the column with the buttons. The column shows up with its background colors (the same as all other columns) but the buttons are not present.
When I select the button and open its properties, the tab for setting-up the buttons, font, etc. is shaded (grayed out).
I don't want a wordpad document with buttons.
I just want to be able to go in and adjust some of the button attributes, and print my spreadsheet - with the buttons visible.
Thank you
Please, are there any experienced Lotus 1-2-3 users available? Thank you. Linda
