Hello sir.i hv an acer aspire 4736 with windows 7.Sumtime back i had a problem with adobe reader.so I had to format my system.From then on,my acer bio protection is nt wrking.Wen i switch to system wizard,it says"fingerprint detection device not found."Although there is no hardware problem.coz it can still read my fingerprint while logging in.I tried reinstalling,bt it didnt work.pls....help!
Please check the settings of the bio protection. maybe you have to config it properly so that you can use it.
You may have not removed all files....I assume you used the"Uninstaller"? If so there may be files left in registry causing the prob. If you are not expert with registry editing then find someone that is and delete all files for this sofware and try a clean installation.
