Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I changed the settings for the security settings for the Dynex router by changing it to 128 bit encryption with a pass phrase and i want to be able to reset it so it will be a open network right now i cant get onto my wireless network. Can anyone help me please?
Plug a Cat 5e cable from your computer into the dynex router.
Go to "Run" in the start menu and type "cmd".
On the black screen type "ipconfig"
The default gateway is your Dynex router.
Open internet explorer and type "http://192.168.0.1" or whatever your configuration was.
Log into router
Default username is: admin
Default password is: (blank)
Now reset your wireless configurations.

What it sounds like you are going to have to do, is reset your router back to factory defaults. After you have done thins you will have to re setup your settings to get it back to the way you had it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
