there is a problem with the stereo firmware. It is not anything you are doing wrong. It is a common problem with all Aiwa's. If you are handy with electronical repair, you can test and replace the bad resistors. Otherwise, it will have to be taken in for diagnostic testing.
i have an aiwa stereo system model no: cx- za20k ,the twin cassette deck works fine,but there is no playback from the c d player,the stereo takes 3 cd s and the player just says reading and changes to the next cd endlessly any one help please
rca does not sell just the laser it sells the base assy. it consistos of the laser & the spindle motor on the metal base. no circuit boards, thoes you will need to remove off of the old one. the list price from rca is $136.10 CDN. replacing the part is not too hard, but take a little time.
