Question about Toshiba D-R2 DVD Recorder
I own the V394 for A couple of years, was very satafisty untill rescent. It will play fine for A while, then freeze, sometime I'll wait for about 5 min/ and it will contuine, but freeze up again. I've clean it witht A CD Lens Cleaner many times, and inserted A New DVD disc and it do the same thing. It will not play A complete Movie.
You could try clening the laser lens with a damp Q-Tip, also gently turn the spin motor spindle by hand... it should be free. If it's binding or tight then it's bad.
