First is it compadable with windows vista?
if so , you might just need to search for the wireless network around you and connect to it.
you have to connect to a new network where ever you go .
is there a wireless router near to where you are?
if not then you will not get signal.

Driver for WPC300N under Windows 7

The only drivers for this device are for Xp and Vista. Download the appropriate bit version (32bit or 64bit) for Vista to your computer, right click on the exe installer and go to properties. Go to compatibility mode, in the drop down menu choose Vista (64 bit or 32 bit which ever version of Windows 7 you're running) and check the "run as administrator" box. Apply the changes and hit the Okay button. Then click on the exe and let it run. If that doesn't work, use 7zip (it's free) and unpack the exe file into a folder. Go to control panel device manager find the wireless card in the "others" section it should have a yellow question mark next to it. Right click that or click once and hit the properties button, go to driver, and choose update driver. A window will pop up that asks if you want to check automatically or do it manually. Choose manually and point the new window to where you unzipped the exe, hit okay and let it "search" it should find the drivers and install them. A note: vista drivers have issues running in windows 7. The card itself is old and outdated and I'd suggest getting a different one. You can find the driver at the link below. Pi21ag-a-k9 driver for windows 7

The latest driver provided by Cisco systems for the PI21AG PCI 802.11a/g adapter was for Windows Vista (Version 1.1A). Currently no Windows 7 driver is listed in the downloads in the software center on Windows XP and 2000 Drivers are also available (WinXP install wizard is 4.5). Sometimes the Windows Vista or Windows XP drivers can be used in Windows 7 and you may try that. Driver downloads can be found at

I need a driver for my linksys wireless router wrt150n for a windows 7 operatimg system the disc i got with it is not compatible with windows 7. Please help

You really do NOT need a driver for your router (Routers do not have drivers.) All the CD contains is a setup wizard and the User Guide.

Go to Linksys' webpage here and look into the FAQ's. There are some articles on how to setup your router with Windows 7. You can also download the user guide (under Downloads) and follow the steps outlined in Chapter 5.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

Vista not recognizing driver from usb g220

Try turning off the Vista security feature known as User Account Control (UAC).

Go into Control Panel/Users. Select your own account then click the link on the left "turn UAC on or off". Disable UAC then click Apply/OK.

Now try installing the driver again. If you still get the "digital signature" warning choose the option to "install anyway".

The driver should then load. You would be best advised to re-enable UAC after you have finished loading the driver.

Computer will not recognize device nor install it even with drivers

seems we do need signed 64bit drivers within hardware. Since our old or current adapter doesn't have it, meaning we would need a new adapter that has it. I think the problem with 2wire and other ISPs using their products is that they don't reveal specific model names, numbers, etc on each to help us recongize what we need.
