Hi I am not able to view incoming call details like mobile number, Contacts person name (If call is from stored contacts). It just shows "Incoming Call". If i attached images to a contact then it shows that image properly in incoming calls but no other details.

Hi, My Nokia 130 phone does not display number for incoming calls. It shows "private number" for all the incoming numbers. I tried moving contacts from SIM to phone, removed duplicate entries. Even restored the factory settings twice. But still it does not help. I will be grateful for any help in this regard.
Why does my Nokia device only show phone number of caller or SMS sender, although they are listed in my contacts? The calling phone number may not match with a contact name and the name is not shown in the following situations when an incoming call or SMS arrives:
The contact is defined twice in the Contacts application (e.g. if both Phone memory and SIM memory contacts have been selected to be displayed in Contacts settings and the same contact is found in both of them).
The same phone number is defined for two or more contacts.
The phone number in Contacts application is in different format than the number received in the incoming call. The phone number may have been stored in local format while the incoming call number is in international format (including country prefix), or vice versa. The number may not be properly matched with a contact name in this situation, depending on the device variant and the length of the calling number. In order to verify the correct format of the contact phone number (local or international), check the number which is shown when the call is received and edit the contact details accordingly.
If the problem persists, make sure your Nokia device is running the latest software. For downloads and assistance, go to your local Nokia website.
perhaps in your phone have stored the list of names and the sim card you inserted have been stored the same names too..??of course teh system of the celphone donot know how to tell due to the reason that it has a two same names & numbers? You can fix this problem by deleting each one of the same name to appear the neme and number of the one who is calling.
Most phones will only do what you require if the contacts are stored on the phones memory instead of the SIM memory. This will also prevent you from assigning photos to contacts and one touch speed dials (i.e. press and hold a number to dial a stored number) Try copying all your contacts to the phones memory. If you see duplicate names, go into phone book settings and adjust setting for phone just to look at phones memory and this will stop duplicates being shown. hope that helps?
