Where would I go to get a back light for a Technics PR-305 Liquid crystal display

It could be the light, or it could be the inverter that powers the backlight. Try asking this guy: http://www.mikebarden.com/technics-electronic-digital-kn-pr-px-piano-keyboard-ensemble-repairs/

The middle c of my sx-k700 Technics keyboard is not working. How can i fix it?

Clean the area around the affected key. Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of the key (and surrounding keys) and then use a dry cotton swab to clean under the stuck key. Be careful not to pry the stuck key up with the cotton swab, as this could break the stuck key.
Press firmly on the stuck key. Sometimes after small dust or particulates are removed, the stuck key will pop back into place. However, if this is not the case, continue on with Step 3.
Pull out the fingernail cleaner extension of your fingernail clippers. This is the flat extension with a little hook on the end. Place the small hook under the left corner of the stuck key. A common reason that keys get stuck is that the collapsible spring becomes off-center. Gently push the key from side to side until it clicks into place. If this does not happen, you will need to disassemble the key completely.
Lift the top part of the key with the fingernail cleaner. You will see a collapsible plastic hinge (this is known as the Key Retainer) as well as a little rubber piece. Take both of these out. You will see a flat surface. Run the cotton swab across this surface to remove any dust.
Place the key components back in the keyboard. Place the rubber part on top of the metal circle you just cleaned with the cotton swab. Then place the key retainer (big side down) on top of it, and "click" it into place. It is very important to be careful with this step as these small parts break easily. Then place the stuck key on top of these parts and then give it a solid tap to click it into place. Your key should work now.

How do I take off teh keyboard digits to clean underneath - after spilling melted chocolate on some keys they are stiff and sticky.

  1. Remove the old keyboard key by putting the tip of your fingernail underneath the top right of the key you want to clean.

  2. Lift the key upward to remove the key.

  3. Push the hinge into place on the keyboard, and put the rubber spring piece into place.
  4. Align the cleaned key on the keyboard so that it is in the correct place.
  5. Push the key firmly in place, and move it slightly around until you hear a clicking sound.

Problems setting midi channels using KN3000 and Cubase

If you are sequencing midi tracks you can imbed the patch change in the track and the midi channel assignment and when the sequence plays the info will be sent to the keyboard. Do you have it set to receive Omni?

Fuzzy sounding speakers

All laptops have a way of adjusting the speaker volume. Usually by way of the "fn" key and two keys with little speakers on them. Change the volume by those keys while holding down the "fn" key.
