Product: PROTECH TV PTV-5536

i was watching tv yesterday when it suddenly turned off! i tried to switch it back on with the remote but it won't! instead, there's this blinking sound on the tv like it was a sound of a timer or something...i tried to switch it on and off manually but it won't do anything and there's still the sound...

would somebody know what's the sound all about and why my tv won't switch back on??

i'll appreciate all the suggestions and help that i could get...

sounds like a power supply problem. The blinking sound could either be the relay or high voltage inside the picture tube and flyback transformer. Bottomline is, you would need to have it checked by a qualified tv tech.
