XP Pro Problm

My system unstable means screen contents vanished every 3 secs plz helps me

Vanished that I referred means that the screen icons on my desktop disappears and appears every 3 seconds.Thus my system becomes unstable.Also the pictures displayed on my internet explorer browsers are appeared to be blurred.I have tried several browsers to overcome this problem but same problem remains.Please help me sir.

Can you explain the problem more? what do you mean vanished? does the screen fade out to white or black, or there is a blue screen with white text, or does it restart the whole system?

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
(note after you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to your hard drive)
The BIOS is AMI. Under ADVANCED SETUP:
The options listed for 1st,2nd ,3rd Boot device include:
IDE-0 means Pri master
IDE-1 means Pri slave
IDE-2 means Sec master
IDE-3 means Sec slave

Insataling windows xp problms

If u just want XP . Source a dos boot ( u can get files from internet), format the HDD .create main partision for windows xp and try installing

Card only works with Windows generic drivers. NVidia's go crazy.

is this the driver you downloaded?
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71_2.html
if not try that one.
if indeed that is the one you tried then try this one instead.
although this is a beta driver it might work.
http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_winxp_2k_32bit_93.81.html
those are the only 2 drivers i can find for this series on windows xp.
you could also try re-installing direct-x.
