Question about Whirlpool MH1150XMQ Microwave Oven
THE DOOR COMES APART BUT MOST OF THE TIMES YOU WILL END UP BREAKING SOMETHING BECAUSE IT IS HELD TOGETHER WITH PLASTIC TABS THAT LOCK BEHIND THE MAIN FRAME OF THE DOOR. TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE TABS, FIRST USE A THIN BLADE TO REMOVE THE CHOKE.( NARROW ROUND PLASTIC PIECE THAT SURROUNDS THE INNER DOOR WINDOW). IF THE DOOR IS SUCCESSFULLY TAKEN APART, YOU CAN GET JUST THE
DOOR HOOK AND REPLACE IT. ALSO CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE SPRING. REPLACE IT IF IT IS WARPED OR THE END IS BROKEN OFF.

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.
I don't suggest your remove the door itself, because misalignment can allow leakage.

It looks like the part is called the door latch.
