- I did assign manually a static IP. I can see the printer server on the network, but the print server utility reports it offline (I can see it using the printer server web interface), my windows driver reports it online.

- Windows XP SP2 with . Seems to be a possible incompability between certain ACL printers and the printer server. If I connect a simpler printer, I am able to print, like a HP inkjet officejet 4100.

The utilities that came with the print server install OK, but get an error when attempting to connect to the print server. Same issue - driver loads & finds print server (TE100-P1U) fine, sets IP address (& I can ping p/s ok) but Add Printer in Vista reports
"Windows cannot connect to the printer. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer is connected to the network."
then returns to the Add Printer window, listing U1 on PS-xxxxxx \\ps-xxxxxx\U1 as (only) network printer to select.
Running Vista Home Premium sp1.
The PC I'm doing the setup from is connected wireless to a Linksys wireless router; printer is hard-wired to 100Bt port on this router.
Ideas?
