Toshiba satelite pro laptop does not recognise hp deskjet2050A

This should be the installation utility for your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32609/al-109407-2/DJ2050_J510_1313.exe

Just download and install the utility and your laptop should pick up the printer no problem.

My toshiba satelite laptop beeps continuosly, non-stop

First, check the memory (RAM) of your computer. remove and put it back in. Also checkif therre is only one or two memory sticks in, so you can check on both. It should work fine, and if not, try replacing the memory of your laptop.

Remove and re-seat the memory (RAM) modules.
The task is non-destructive / harmless.

Hi,toshiba satelite pro L20 beeps when start up

Run check disk for hard drive errors. I recommend immediately backing up all your data that you can, wiping it, and reinstalling your programs. The rebooting problem smells like a bad hard drive. I just went through it with a Compaq at work.

My satallite pro 6000 wont boot up

This error code most likely refers to the RAM.
The RAM module/s may only need reseating to make proper electrical connection.
If this doesn't work the the RAM module/s is possibly faulty. Take it to your friendly computer shop the get it tested or insert it into another laptop to test the RAM.

RAM uprgade doesn't work on Toshiba SP6000

Hi

You need these modules:
PC133 512MB (PA3108U-1M51)
PC133 256MB (PA3086U-1M25)
PC133 128MB (PA3085U-1M12)

Furthermore you can upgrade the memory to max 1024 MB

hope this helps

You might want to go to the computer manufacturers web site and see if they have a list of error codes for you computer. If not, you might also try to do a Google search for error codes pertaining to your particular computer.

If you can't find a list of error codes, keep in mind that some computers can be very finicky about the type of RAM that is installed. If you haven't already, check to make sure that the RAM you are trying to install is 100% compatible with the computer that you have. If so, you might try installing the RAM one stick at a time and rebooting with each chip individually. This will help to determine whether one of the chips might be bad or not. If the RAM is 100% compatible - AND - it will not boot with a single stick installed, there is a distinct possibility that all of the RAM sticks could be bad.
