Do you have a specific numeric code? Like 09,400, or something like that?
I will be back in a few minutes. Let me know, I will be looking for an answer for you.

    there is technically no drum motor in the 7760. I am having a hard time finding anything to go with that.

    If you are having another code let me know please

    Ah huh , I found it. It was left out of the dodumentation LOL..

    As I suspected, a pretty serious problem here are the options. Not good.

    You could have a shorted or broken wire. Most likely a bad main processor or that motor assembly.

    Change Drum Motor. (PL1.1)

    Execute DC330 [004-003].

    Between MCU PWB J407-B8 (+) GND (-)

    Is the voltage +5VDC?

    Yes No

    Change MCU PWB (PL13.1)

    Execute DC330 [004-003].

    Drum Motor J210-8 (+) GND (-)

    Is the voltage +5VDC?

    Yes No

    Check for cut wires and bad connections between MCU PWB J407-B3 and Drum Motor J210-3

    Change Drum Motor. (PL1.1

    Check for frame shorts between Drum Motor J210-3. And MCU PWB J407-B3 , and if there are no

    problems, change MCU PWB. (PL13.1)

    Check for cut wires and bad connections between Drum Motor J210-3. and MCU PWB

Ask Xerox. They may be able to supply you with a manual or diagram. Next time you may be better asking in the printer section.

I have a Brother MFC-8860DN and the left side of the paper is lighter than the right side. Is this a drum problem? I've always found that a Line will appear on the page when it is the drum.

Dear Briquet ,
First you have to clean the drum by a Cotton cloth and try it , If its not works then my suggestion is you have to replace the Drum unit for your Printer.

Xerox Phaser 7750 faulty door sensor

it,s all $$ wherever you go ?
If you can find which wires contact ( Make/Break ) possibly with a multimeter. Remove the sensor, join the wires. tuck it into the inside of the printer.
tape it up to avoid any shorts.

Power up on ST61G4

The "No Signal" display is an indication that there is no video output from your PC going towards the monitor. Cycling the power on/off a few times before the unit will start indicates there is a problem with the PC basic configuration. This may include:
1. Defective, dirty, loose memory sticks - clean or replace;
2. Defective, dirty, loose video card - clean or replace;
3. BIOS/CMOS settings too aggressive or not stable - set to default;

You can also try resetting the CMOS/BIOS to default settings by moving the reset jumper from its original position to the opposite end (1-2, then make it 2-3) temporarily. The reset jumper is normally very near the Lithium back-up battery. Alternately, removing the battery for an hour would also do the same, reset.

In some instances, it is the CPU fan blower that does not startup causing the system to halt. If so, it needs to be removed, cleaned, lubricated and re-installed.

At other times it can be cause by devices nearing end of its life. These may include the HD and the CD.

Still, this could also be caused by external devices which cannot be accessed/read at the startup such as a flashdrive.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Xerox printing problem

Is it asking for the fuser module to be replaced? The fusers have a fuse or a chip in them that turns them off after a certain number of impressions.
