Is the password in the user account you log in to, or in the BIOS (preventing the machine from booting at all)?

    What is the operating system?

If you can not enter your operating system because your being asked to type in the password than you will not get into windows unless you re-install windows or have the correct password. If you can not get into your bios because you or someone else set a password up for the bios. You can re-set the bios by clearing the bios settings. This entails moving a jumper on the motherboard to clear the bios & than re-seating the jumper to it's default setting. After doing this you'll have to enter the bios & re-set up all the settings for the system or your operating system may not load correctly.

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don't know the Windows system password at the critical comment. How to do if you made a Windows XP password that you never be care of it? How should you do when your computer has parents controlled by the XP Administrator password? Or you need to borrow a friend's computer to carry out emergency work, but you don't know the admin password...Let's share some tips about how to bypass windows XP password.

First things first, try the guest account. Simply enter 'Guest' in the user name box, or click on the account labeled Guest. Sometimes people will have these account enabled without even realizing it, and many times they are left without a password. If this doesn't work for you, or you require a little bit more access than the Guest account provides, read on.

Next up is Windows XP's built in 'Administrator' account. This account is created during Windows installation, and is not accessible under normal circumstances. Many computers, especially those that come from Dell or similar companies, leave the Administrator account without password protection.

To get to this account, boot the computer into safe mode. You can do this by holding down the F8 key during startup, and selecting Safe Mode from the Windows boot menu. Once the computer boots into Safe Mode, you'll have access to the Administrator account. Things will look a little weird in Safe Mode, but don't worry, things will be fine when you boot normally again.

Once Windows finishes booting, try getting into the Administrator account, leaving the password field blank. If you're unable to get in this way, then there is a password on the account, and unless you can guess it, you're going to have to try something else, and you can skip the next paragraph. If you're in, then there's no limit to what you can do.

Besides, you can also take use of Windows password reset CD to remove Windows XP password if you forgot Windows XP password. Well, how can you get Windows password reset CD? Just download Windows Password Unlocker and a blank CD, you can DIY a Windows password reset CD in 4 steps.

In fact, Windows Password Unlocker can be used to bypass windows 7 password, bypass windows vista password , bypass windows NT password and so on.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Reset Admin Password on used computer.

Ok, what I am going to do is show you how to bypass or (hack) a password protected windows xp computer. first, restart your computer>press F8 before it boots up, a menu will come up>select safe mode>restart in safe mode>the admin account comes up> click on it and click yes when the small menu comes up> the computer should boot to the desktop now>select start>control panel>select user accounts>select change account and follow the prompts to creating a new account (make sure that the administrator radio button is selected) put in your new password, etc> restart your computer. You should now have administrator privileges on that system. Let me know if you have any further problems. :-)
