I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled (the absolute worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (2nd. Worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Print cartridge in right stall not supported for hp 2410

Print cartridge is a knock off. Cartridges have printed circuits in them that the printer can recognize as being the original replacement. This is to keep people from using other products in their printer, which I think is foul, since you paid for the printer and it technically belongs to you. Sometime HP will make cartridges with faulty circuits that the printer will not recognize.. If that is the case call them and demand a new ink cartridge.

My x5495 black and color cartridges are not printing. they have ink in them, but will not print. have cleaned cartridges and still will not work.

Try this approach:
  1. When you're on Copy mode, press the Menu button on the printer operator panel.
  2. Press left/right button until Tools is selected on the screen.
  3. Press check.
  4. Choose Maintenance.
  5. Press left/right button until Clean Cartridges is selected on the screen.
  6. Press check.
Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. After the page is printed, try to print your document/file again to verify if problem is resolved.
You may also try to reseat the cartridges by removing both cartridges from your printer > close the printer cover > unplug/re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it > when the printer turns on, firmly re-insert the cartridges. Try to print again.
If that doesn't help, try to insert different known working cartridges.
If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

HP printer all-in-one model2410xphotosnart keeps giving me the message to remove and check print cartridges which I have done and both are full. Will not stop blinking and when trying to print makes...

Welcome to Fixya

This means the the printer cannot determine which cartridge is causing the error. Make sure that you are using original HP cartridges.

Please see troubleshooting procedure below:
  1. Remove the color cartridge from the left stall (which has a blue latch) and refasten the latch. Leave the other cartridge in place.
  2. Close the printer, wait 10 to 15 seconds, then look at the LCD display.
    • If the LCD display reads Insert Color Cartridge in Left Stall , the color cartridge may be causing the problem. Follow the steps below:
      1. Clean the color cartridge contacts. Click here to see how.
      2. Reinsert the color cartridge into the carriage and close the blue latch.
      3. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      4. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the color cartridge.
    • If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , follow the steps below:
      1. Reinsert the color cartridge.
      2. Remove the black or photo cartridge, depending on which one is installed in the right stall. The right stall has the gray latch. Be sure to refasten the latch on the empty stall.
      3. Clean the black or photo cartridge contacts.
      4. Reinsert the black or photo cartridge.
      5. Close the printer and wait 10 to 15 seconds.
      6. If the LCD display reads Remove and Check Print Cartridges , replace the black or photo cartridge.

Whenever i try to print it does 1/2 page then the cartridge keeps getting stalled on one side. Error message on screen says print cartridge stalled, error message on printer says clear carraige jam. Cannot...

If there's a carriage jam. While the printer is turned on, Open the access door of you printer.
If the carriage is stuck at the left side, try moving it manually by hand to the right most part of the window. If it's stuck on the right, try moving it by hand to the left.
If you've already done that. While the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back. Close the access door. And then plug it back in.
Make sure you restart the computer first just to avoid documents getting stuck in the print queue. Try printing again. Usually it does the trick.

Do both stalls need to contain a cartridge, in order to print?

Hi

Yes you are right both the stalls should contain cartridge. However, it is not necessary that the cartridges should contain ink. One of the cartridges can be empty.

Please put empty cartridge on the carriage, even if you want to print a BW document.

Incorrect Cartridge Print cartridge in right stall not supported?

I changed the cartridge and it now works. I resent this though because it had been merrily printing before it decided it would stop and I have had to waste a three quarters full cartridge! I just hope the new one does not go the same way

Cannot get ahp58 ink cartridge to fit a hp2410 printer, the box that it come in said it would fit; how do I get it to fit?

The #58 cartridge goes into the right side...remove the black cartridge and insert the #58 cartridge. This give the printer a wider range of colors when printing photo.
