Wireless access how do I get the password for my linksys

Reset the Linksys to "factory settings", including the default logon-ID and password. Login to the router, and enable wireless security, and set a password for your wireless network.

Which password you are looking for?
If you are looking for wireless network password then you will need to access the router setup page and check the wireless settings.
IF you are looking for password to access router settings then default password of Linksys router is admin.

Are you speaking about router about router log in password or Wireless network password.

If you want to change the router log in password then you can go to Administration tab and change the log in password for router setup page.
IF you want to change the wireless network security key WEP / WPA then you can change the wireless settings.

You can change the default password on the Linksys wireless router by connecting a LAN cable from the Linksys to the LAN port on the computer. Then open a browser and type the Linksys configuration URL http://192.168.1.1
The default login = admin
the default PW = admin
You can now change the password in the password setting.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. First connect your router with ethernet cable with 1 computer .
Then access this link

http://192.168.1.1 or
http://192.168.0.1

type user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"

then go t o wi fi security then go to encryptripn key it is your password.to connect netwrok

make sure that modem is connected to the linksys, and cords are properly seated.
if cords are seated correctly, hard wire computer to linksys first.
second, access the linksys software thru 192.168.1.1 on the address bar on internet explorer browser.
third,if you will see pop-up box asking for username and password.username must be left blank and password must be set to admin.
forth,inside the linksys software try to access wireless settings.
