You may need to install a driver on your pc. Check the tv handbook and see if this is required

Your laptop is not set to enable the external video output.

Most likely, your laptop has a key that says "RGB/LCD" or something similar on it. This key cycles through the various video output options, enabling the laptop's LCD, the external RGB output, or both simultaneously. Most laptops require you to hold down the function key ("FN") when pressing the "RGB/LCD" key to cycle through the options.

Hello, I have a 2 years old Panasonic Viera plasma TV and there are many horizontal lines going from the top of the screen to the bottom... No matter which input is used...

You're discussing about the 'supply HUM' I assumes. Check all the external connection to TV inputs for firmness first. If all are found OK, check by replacing all the filter capacitors at its main power supply regulator board. In fact, replace the power supply board as card basis will be the best. You don't need a driver. Just connect it to your PC and choose in the TV menu correct input source.

Panasoics plasma viera rv will not auto tune telling us to insert aerial already in Model TH-P50X20Z

The manual for this TV can be found here. If you are watching broadcast television, or cable TV service that does NOT require use of a set top "cable box" tuner, you would connect the coax cable from the UHF / VHF antenna or cable into the ANT cable connector on the rear of the TV as shown on page 8 & 9 in the manual.

You would then tell the TV setup to scan for available channels as shown on page 12 of the manual.

If you are using a seperate tuner - like those supplied by Cable TV, Dish, DirectTV, Satellite, etc. you should use (1) the HDMI 1, 2 or 3 inputs (HD) 720P and up; (2) the RGB inputs of AV2 for best picture quality 720P or better (HD), (3 & 4) the AV1 & AV3 (on the side next to HDMI) for 480i and possibly 480P (SD) and finally the ANT connector for 480i. If you have a computer that offers VGA jack to connect to an external monitor, use the PC connector on th erear of the TV to send it HD images.

Page 27 & 28 detail manual channel editing.

Good luck!

Just bought a 42" panasonic

On your remote, click menu, then setup, then external devices, then input labels. Here is a link for manual:

Auxilliary audio connection

I don't expect a 2 channel amp would have a digital input such as optical. More likely you would be able to pull analog stereo (red and white RCAs) off the Panasonic and run to the JVC.

Panasonic Plasma HDTV 50" Viera--won't turn on. Red light flashes 10 times followed by a 3 sec pause, then repeat 10 flashes. Have solved problem by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but that is not...

Please make sure your connectors are in the proper place.

The HDMI inputs on the rear of the TV are optimized for use with Audio/Video devices, Blu-ray Disc Player, DVD Recorder, etc.
The front or side HDMI inputs only are designated for PC. To use the TV as a PC monitor, advise customers to use only front or side HDMI inputs.
