You need to check the fill tube it could be ajar. It should be going into funnel at the back, of icemaker.
If so, the valve is bad, letting the water in when its not calling for it.

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly. It sounds like your icemaker is really acting up. Odd shaped cubes, and leaking water.
First thing is to disconnect the plastic water line from the icemaker on the back of the freezer. Then rotate the retangular head about 30 deg and pull out the rubber tube. Wash it but do not scrub it. Then reinstall it and reconnect the plastic tubing.

Firstly put off the refrigerator before the compressor burns off.
The problem is simple... the coling gas has leaked out.... put new coolong gas...BUT only after finding the place of leak... this will be needed to be fixed first.

Make sure by filling with water and let freeze and if the ice dumps and does not refill the your water control valve is at fault. Your model has the electronic style ice maker and replacement is in just replacing the electronic core and cub slots. I will return with part numbers and a photo. Thanks, Sea Breeze

the freezer has a defrost timer on the evaporator coil to keep it from freezing up and restricting the air flow to the box. It may simply be going into defrost mode to often and filling up the condensate pan. The adjustment on the timer is internal near the rear and should be done by a servvice tech

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

On most automatic ice makers the arm is in the up position to make ice, but check with the manufacture to make sure
