UI/NC CABLE FAILURE RESET THE MACHINE CODE IN WORKCENTRE 7675

Your error is either a disconnected cable or a bad cable.

Xerox refers to the Operator Panel as the "UI"or User Interface, and the "NC" as the Network Controller. The cable you probably need to check or replace is 117K37660, coming out of the Operator panel back to the copier.

you can reach recovery mode by first shutting off your computer. 2 turn it back on and as soon as you press the power key start tapping f5 constantly and your screen should go into safe mode. you can the put your computer to recover or set it back to an earlier date and time. hope this helps.

Advent black screen

Hi,

This sounds like a bad video driver update.

Restart the machine and repeatedly tap the F8 key. When you see the advanced boot menu appear choose safe mode.

You will see white text on screen that will stop on a system 32 driver, wait a minute and let it boot through.

Next, go do device manager and uninstall the display drivers or roll back the driver to a previous one.
Reboot the machine and it should boot into windows normally. You may have to reinstall the display drivers if they don't reinstall themselves.

Please post back if you need anymore help or advice.

Good luck.

Rebooting loop on advent laptop

See if it will run in safemode tap F8 as it boots - then choose "safemode" - see if that works If it does:-
  1. Try doing a system restore to before the problem started start> programs> accessories> system tools> system restore > choose a date before the problem started
  2. If that does not work, then try doing a clean boot - details here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796 Now if it works when booted normally - you will need to go back into the configuration tool and find out which program is causing the issue - reply here if that's the case, and I can work you through the detail

Screen goes blank after afew second on ac inly

Try booting to the Safe Mode (F8 at boot) see if you get any further. Also, does the system complete boot (DO you hear windows sounds?) or is the system just hanging after the Splash screen (You can also try an external monitor and press Fn+F8 to enable the external display) If you can get video externally, then is it likely a LCD or video card failure. If you can't boot to the safe mode and you do not hear the Windows Welcome sound that normally plays at the desktop, then the system is not booting and you have either a hard drive failure and/or an operating system failure.
See if you can boot to the BIOS (F2 at boot), then reload the default settings and reboot.

If you suspect the OS is a problem, boot to the XP CD, then run CHKDSK /R and see if that helps
You can also run system Diagnostics by pressing Fn+the Power button

Sony VGC-LS35E BLANK SCREEN

Do you mean after windows has booted you have a blank screen?
Boot into windows in safe mode (by pressing F8) during the boot up process.
When booted go into device manager and remove any video drivers under display adapters, if it asks to delete the files as well answer yes.
Reboot into normal mode and let windows find the driver for you.

ADVENT KC550P Lap Top scren

the pc is standing at command prompt, which means it is unable to find the boot.ini file required to boot into windows

When you say you pressed F8 did you keep pressing it until you got a menu saying Safe Mode, last known good configuration, start in VGA mode etc, if so use last known good configuration and let it reboot.

If still nothing then you will need the windows cd to perform a system repair.
