There is a 5amp 250v ceramic fuse mounted inside the case besides the power lead connector.
do not be tempted to use a glass tube one as it will blow due to the heat

The infocus LP600 won't power up

make sure the lamp door is engaging the safety switch. manually reset the lamp hours and reflash the software, if that don't work it's most likely the power supply.

A shadow on the right side of the screen

the light tunnel has collapsed and needs to be replaced. you can get the part and do it yourself. it's pretty easy. it's located between the lamp and lens, and under the colorwheel.

I have a infocus Lp 240 projector I have only used a couple of times we had a thunder storm and the power surged now I can't get projector to come on.... What wrong with it

I would expect the Power Supply is ruined, and maybe even the entire unit has been damaged. Look with Power Spikes, you can often get Insurance coverage for this event. You need to take it to a reputable repair place and if they agree that it has suffered a Power Surge/Strike, they write a report and you can claim insurance. I write reports like this for customers quite a bit.

I have two InFocus LP 540 projectors that simply do not indicate power when they are plugged in. Has anyone else experienced problems with the power supply? Is there a fuse somewhere that might need...

you can check the fuses (located on the power supply board where the cord plugs in), but it's more likely that the caps are dried out and need replacing, or the whole board itself. if that's the case, try av solutions in ny. they're an infocus service center and they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

Projector stopped working

Hi amp422

This wouldn't be a lamp issue at all if there is no power at all on the unit.

Take of the top cover and change the fuse located on the Powersupply Board ( the one where the AC socket goes into)

Should do the trick.

Thanks for using Fixya !

Infocus LP 600 will not power up! It is not the cord or the outlet. Thanks Paul K

Hi Paul

Does the counter on the LCD display ontop of the Projector work ?

If it doesn't your Powersupply board will need replacement.

If the counter does work , it is either your lamp or the Ballastboard ( lamp's powersupply) that is faulty.
