Question about Krups Palatino 905-42 Espresso Machine

Knob not working

I´m having some problems with my espresso machine. When I push button to make a coffee all goes well until it might start making the coffee. I can hear some noise, lowder than usual from the knob. It seems the mechanism is not working. After some time 2 green leds start blinking or the led that says "no water", "no coffee" becomes red. Please, need some help.

    Hi Yalmer...

thanks for the info. Took a look at krupsusa.com but no help. And, let me add, I think the correct to say is BREW group, not knob. When it must start going down and up to take the coffee and make the coffee it makes strange noises and no coffee...
Should I look at the motor of the brew group?
    Thanks again.

PS - it is strange: in the family we have a total of 3 machines (krups and saeco - same machines ) that we purchased 6 or 7 years ago. Now, all the machines are giving problems. Is this a coincidence or lifetime?

Here is a web address with a troubleshooting chart because of all sorts of contaminants that can plug it.
The water used in these units is important.
Also, any lines that may be plugged from additives etc. can cause a malfunction.
The best way to know is take the machine apart and examine all hoses etc. for blockage.
If the machines have not been cleaned in a long time, then 1 part white vinager and one part water to run through may solve the problem. Let me know shat you find.

I have no manual for this machine it makes to much coffee i whant to know how to regulate the amount of coffee

Hi

Try reprogramming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button.
If that doesn't fix it, then you might need a new flow meter.

My descaling light wont go off

You have to make sure you run the full descaling cycle. WIth my T90 I have to push the button for 3 sec to get the secalling program and it has to run until the reservoir runs out before the descale light goes out.

JUST HAD IT SERVICED. RAN TWO SHOTS OF ESPRESSO, STEAMED MY MILK JUST FINE. THEN WHEN I TRIED TO DO ANOTHER SHOT, PUSHED BUTTON AND NOTHING HAPPENED. STEAM LIGHT FLASHING, WON'T GO OFF.

Hi
If you steam and then try to make another coffee, you need to cool the boiler off. Turn the steam off by pushing the steam button again, then open the steam knob and running water until the flashing light turn to green steady. Then make you coffee.

Hi There are 3 buttons for making coffee. Try programming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button.

My palazzo only works when i press the button for expresso?it doesnt work when i push the button for the bigger cup ?

HI
If it works for espresso, but it doesn't work for the large cup, try holding the large cup button down and keep it down. Let it go through the grind, the clicking, and if it starts to dispense coffee , still don't release it until you have the desired amount in your cup. Then release it.
If one of the coffee buttons is held down for 3 seconds or more and then released, the water program goes back to zero. No water. You have to reprogram the button like we did above.
