If you want to stop Kaspersky firewall blocking
then go to control panel > Network Connections > your Local Area Connection > properties > In the General tab you will see list of check box's > in one of them you will find "Kaspersky Anti-Virus NDIS Filter" Unstall that one.

This should do the work.

Windows xp installed in VirtualBox as guest through Host Ubuntu 9.04 eth0 and eth1 shown cable plugged. internet connection established in Host but not working in Guest xp

There could a few things that could be preventing internet connection to your host windows xp.
Check these out:
-Dont follow these an order LOL
1) make sure the windows firewall is not causing the problem
a) do a test by turning it off. click on "Start" click on "Run" and type "Firewall.cpl" and turn it off. then see if you get a internet connection.

2) maybe you have set to "obtain an ip automatically"
a) click on "start" then right-click on "My network places" click on "view network connections" right-click on "Local area connections" slect propeties" then scroll down till you see "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" and click on "obtain an ip automatically"

3) when you open up VirtualBox check that you have it set to "NAT" i have mine set to "Bridged Adapter" so my virtual machine can get an ip from my router.

4) make sure your router isnt blocking in some way your virtual machine...maybe your router has a firewall.

5) also maybe host's firewall is causing the issue
-
let me know how it goes.

The adaptet seems to be conected but dont have access to internet.

it maybe a firewall blocking access or the secruity code 1) disable the firewall and see if it now connects 2) log into the router and goto the wireless section and remove the secruity now see if that will connect
a useful tool to use if you can copy onto the PC http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the networks broadcasting - so you can now see if the adapter will detect your wireless network

Belkin adapter f6d4050 not connecting to internet

| |the belkin adapter connects to the airport express router | | sounds like the adapter driver has installed all OK if you have connection to the router. Therefore something is blocking access on your PC - the most common thing is a firewall. to test if you do have access to the internet can you do the following:-------start>run{vista/7 search box}>CMD>ping google.com ----- see if you get a reply message sent 4 times - if you do then you do have access to internet - if you do not get a reply do this ping 209.191.93.53 ------ if you get a reply from this number BUT not from the name then its a DNS issue. ------------ assuming that you get a reply from both , then I suspect its a firewall blocking, disable the firewall, now firewalls such as Norton, Mcafee etc can cause issues even if you think you have removed them in the past , or a subscription has expired. to remove these firewalls i would suggest you use a removal tool which is available at most of the manufacturers website - if you reply with a comment on what you have I can post the link now if its a dns issue try the following ---------- start>run{vista/7 search box}>CMD>ipconfig /dnsflush -------- if that does not work - then you could try a public DNS like google public DNS here http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ the link also shows you how to configure your PC - if that works then post a comment back and we can see if we can get it working on the correct dns servers from your isp

Internet cuts out

Check for firewall or antivirus which could be blocking your access. or the best way to resolve this issue is by changing the wireless channel on router setup page.
