I think there is a belt or gear in there that might have broken. I am familiar wih that cute little "aquarium" that shines a light up through the liquid.

I have a a seeburg LPC1 1963 Jukebox was working fine, just stopped dead turntable doesant go round ,selection buttons have stopped working. The only working part are the lights nothing else, Turn it on...

check all fuses..a recap of the machine would fix this issue if it was a suddon stop dead and nothing symptom racaping is a good idea just after you see it run no matter how poorly but it would be a mistake to recap the machine right now because you have a hard fault and recapping presents it's own problems..no.

check all fuses first if not the fuses check to see all of the plug in cables are plugged in wiggle all of the plugged in wires it's possible one of the wires (or more) have hardened and is causing a short or intermittant problem (wires tend to get more flexible when warm as oppossed to when they're cold and THIS may be the issue! if AFTER you've checked on those two things and neither of the items helped at all? then it's time to call a repair man.voltages in any electronic device can be lethal and unless you know your way around electronics I would NOT advise you to go ANY further than the two checks I've given you here. let us know how it turns out

I have an fisher RS636 when i cut it on it stay's on for 8-9 seconds and cuts off. 1 glass 125v/5amp fuse blowd which i changed. i am attempting to fix it myself does anyone have an idea were i start?...

Unplug the unit. Start in the power supply. Unplug any cabling going to the PS Board to minimize erroneous measurements. I am hoping you are technical since you are going to screw around with the electronics so let's get to it. Perform a diode check and capacitive check on main filters to make sure the bridge rectification is good. Next, analyze whatever V (TDA, STK, etc) output module may be on the power supply board (PS).

Should everything look good, keep the cabling off the PS Board but make sure the grounding leads are still tied to it. Replace the fuse with same E and I ratings. Plug in the power supply. Fuse blows? If so, you missed the problem on the PS... go back and run diagnostics (continuity on discretes). If it didn't blow, hook up the cabling the way it was and turn it back on. Fuse blow? More than likely it will be your output transistors. Perform tests while unit is unplugged (diode function).

Good luck and don't get bitten!

I have a fisher ca-9335 integrated stereo amplifier thats hooked up to sanyo tp 1010 turn table and plays out of yamaha ns-70t speakers. a simple jvc cd player is also hooked up to the speakers but not to...

Something doesn't add up. You mention two connections to the speakers - CA-9335 and a "simple jvc cd player". Is that true? If so, you might want to UNconnect the CD from the speakers and run it into the receiver where it belongs. An amp isn't designed to share the load with another live device; or even have electrical contact with anything BUT speakers.

Did you actually find documentation that supports this hook-up? Or just winging it?

Fisher ca 9025 amplifier

For those who accidently put thier CA-9025 in standby mode by hitting the timer button and no longer have the remote, I figured out how to turn them back on.

Turn on the power button and press and hold the Tuner button for at least 10 seconds. it should come back on :) Hope that helps.
