Please supply a brand and model #. Most likely a convergence problem.

I have a samsung sp43w6hpx which started to mix colours and now it just goes to standby can anybody help please as its a good tv and i`d like it fixed

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.
If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, greenish, or blueish or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured.
You can search google for parts or you can get the parts with repair instructions from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com

Problem with a colour display on Hisense tv

If your picures are all purple it means that the green colour is missing. TV colour is made up by mixing Red, Green & Blue. Removing Green leaving Red & Blue makes purple. Study the green colour circuit for a fault and confirm that the green gun inside the tube is working.

It looks like you colorwheel is getting defective, i recommend you replace it, just make sure you identify igf it's the one with the silver or gold bearing, because if you get the wrong one, it won't work on your Tv.

Rainbow colours on the screen

The projector is starting to go out in it. Depending on your financial situation, you can take it to a shop to have it looked at, or replace the TV. Depending on how long this has been happening, the Pioneer projectors usually last about 100 hours once this happens before they burn out completely.

I have Samsung $2 W5HP TV (Tear projection). It has started giving 2 ghost lines and colours are not mixed. What can be the reason please? Thanks

This is a convergence problem. If you can solder, locate the convergence ICs and resolder the pins. If that does not resolve the problem, the ICs should be replaced. These are large black ICs attached to a heatsink and may be marked STKxxx.
Keep us posted on your progress.
