Question about Dell UltraSharp 1800FP 18.1" LCD Flat Panel Monitor
I just purchased a Dell 1800FP off ebay, and when I tested it I felt it looked fine. Then, when I placed it next to my other 1800FP it was clear that the ebay one had a fairly pronounced yellow tint to it. Nothing in the monitor or computer settings is able to approach correcting it -- wondering if this is something that might be repairable or if it's not worth the cost/hassle and I should just learn to live with it? Thanks.
Your Display cable (inside your monitor) needs to be replaced. (Or reseated)
I would look on ebay to try and find the part and then take it to a local tech to replace it for you as I would not recommend anyone take apart a monitor (LCD OR CRT) if you had never done so before.
