I would like to know how to set up HAWKING HWDN3 USB 2.0 Wireless 300N Dish Network Adapter for Windows 10?

Have you logged into your router from a computer? Is it designed for win10 or a previous version of windows? Sounds like its for a previous version id try rolling back the driver and or using compatibility mode for what ever version of windows it was designed for. Select the app, right click and there and or in properties is compatibility mode. Ps is it your router that you updated? You'll need to log into it with a computer and RJ45 network cable. The usual network cable. And do the initial configuration like setting bssid and password Wi-Fi ect.

Hello, What do I have to do so that not everyonecan use the WLAN, but has to login first.

You have to setup password protection for the router.

To do this, open up your internet browser and type into the navigation bar 192.168.1.254 and hit enter.

If presented with a user authentication (login) screen, try the following:
Default Username - Hawking Wireless Router: admin (lowercase)
Default Password - Hawking Wireless Router : none (none, leave blank)

To add password protection you will have to activate WEP (a standard encryption protocol used in most routers to protect from unauthorised access).

To access the WEP information, run the Setup Wizard and then go to the Wireless region. Hint: While troubleshooting, try a 64-bit (instead of using a 128 bit WEP key or WPA) WEP key first. To avoid WEP Key mismatch (typing errors, etc.), use a simple/short (i.e. a 10 digit Hex Key such as 0123456789, 5555555555, 6666666666, etc.) WEP Key.

Write down your WEP Key so that you don't forget it.

I purchased a router linksys by cisco model wrt120n wireless home router, i leave on a 2 story house of concrete. my problem is i can not used my laptop on the first floor.. i look on the unit of my router...

You can use WAP4410N Access Point in Repeater Mode with WRT120N to extend the wireless signal.

You could also try the Hawking HWREN1 Hi-Gain Wireless-300N Range Extender.

Another route you can try is Linksys WMP600N High-speed Wireless-N PCI Adapter with Dual-Band.

These devices should each be able to give you a strong enough signal, if placed properly, to connect to your Router.

Yes you can configure it with below method. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then configure wan settings and lan settings enable wireless if you want to use wifi Then save settings and restart router Then connect cable from internet service provider to WAN port of router and connect ethenet lan cable from computer to lan port of router. .
