Konica 1112 Copy Machine NEEDS TO LIVE a few more years

I have a Konica 1112 photo copy machine. It draws in dirt and requires frequent cleaning. I am having no success with producing a clear copy, it is streaked with black strips on the copy. WHAT CAN I DO?

Call a service tech to come in and do a full optical cleaning. Requires removal of the glass.

Hi,

This is the best way to download the drivers of all your devices which are connected to the system for free.

But you have to be patient.

First, i want you to download a ree program called "Orbit download manager" from the link below,

http://dl.orbitdownloader.com/dl/OrbitDownloaderSetup.exe

And then you can download a program called "Driver genius" from link

http://www.qwerks.com/download/6776/drvgenpro.exe

it is a trial program for 15 days

dont worry we only need it for 5 minutes

Install & run the program & in the windows click on the update the drivers

It will check & it will give the window with the drives that needs to be updated & it will not update a it is a trial one.

So you just right click on the driver name, you will get a message called 'copy url address 1' copy that & open the orbit downloader & click on the create new download & paste the link the drivers will be downloaded for free.

Some sites give these drivers only for the money & we cannot be able to find them from the free sites, so i think this would be a nice trick.

Good Luck.

HP 7280 two-sided printing instructions

I just got off a live chat with a HP tech, Seems the 7280 prints double sided from a file only. It WILL NOT copy a double sided document loaded into the document feeder, or onto the scanner. Bummer. However 7280 is still a fine printer, and I have owned it since first hit the market, more than a year ago.

KONICA 7020 TAPPING SOUND WHEN PRINTING

Either the toner bottle may have come out a bit, or the toner has become clogged / compacted.

This series copier was notorious for the toner chute / delivery system getting clogged / compacted with toner. Given the fact that the machine was recently transported, this is a very good possibility.

First check the toner bottle, and make sure it's pushed / locked all the way in. You will feel a "click" when the bottle is seated properly.

If it IS locked in, and the noise continues, DO NOT CONTINUE TO RUN MACHINE!!

A clogged / toner chute will undertone the system in a very short amount of time, and will result in a service call being needed, and possibly damaged to internal parts. In severe cases where customers continued to run them, main controls boards have been damaged due to increased loads on the toner / developer drive motors.

Unfortunately, to remedy the problem, you will need to place a call for a tech to come and clean / vacuum out the toner chute / delivery system.

Hello kabousven,

Could you be more specific with the screen of death? Can you read any specific errors?

Also will you list all of the other hardware installed? Screen of death during XP installation can mean that certain drivers are required, but not there.

Also, what is the model and make of your motherboard, and when you plug in your video card to the other slot, how many beeps do you hear? 2,3, fast or slow?

Regards,

Chester

Corrupt driver

One method you can use if you have another computer is you can take the hard drive out of the machine, and connect it to an external enclosure, Ive seen them as cheap as $10. After it is connected to another machine, you can download the driver file that is being reported as corrupt or missing to that computer, extract the file and copy it back to that location on the laptop's drive. This may be a little bit difficult if driver files like ntoskrnl or ntldr go missing, you have technically had your bootstrap loader go bad. There is the possibility that you can copy those files from any other machine running the same version of windows to replace the corrupt files. The only problem with this is that this can occasionally cause more problems than it can fix, because during the installation process these files get embedded with the information about the computer it was installed on, which can panic the registry or driver lists.
