Behind the display control youll find two slots for inserting a screwdriver and releasing tabs that are holding the control up, no screws just 2 press to release tabs, might be a little awkward to feel might have to twist your head in a little sideways to see them. there is or at least should be a tech sheet mounted to the underneath of the cabinet, just behind the kick plate on rightside

What does the front control module look like?

Lightening that close probably fried everything. ECM,BCM,injectors, coils, ignition control module and more. I did an 05 grand prix that was welded on the exhaust. They hooked the ground to the on the body instead of the exhaust and fried everything in the car. The only way to check is to take the modules apart and look for burnt PC boards. Hand held computers wont read them, because they are burnt.

Control board replacement

You may want to look at the following components on the circuit board and replace them as necessary. If there appears to be no power to the machine (clock), the machine may have received a power spike from an unclean/fluctuating power source. Look at resistor R5. If it shows any signs of heat damage, replace it. Then look at diode D3, which has been the cause of malfunction on my unit for four times already. Replace this diode (10V, 1.3W) and it should run again. This diode is working like an over-voltage protection fuse (which should have been built into this machine with easy access in the first place!) and since it gets fried so often on my unit I'm planning an illustrated writeup on how to mod the board to make exchanging this diode easier and without disassembling the machine.

Since my main oven element went pop last week the main oven temp control light is always on. I have replaced the element but it seems glow on what looks like full temperature. The only way I can control...

Thuis sounds like the relay on the main control board has fried. It is stuck in a closed positon(on). The relay cannot be replaced the whole board must be replaced. Here is a link that should help

Replacing oven ERC you can also enter your model# for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model.

How do you install a control board?

If you are referring to the Central Control Unit (CCU), follow these steps:

1. UNPLUG washer and remove the top panel by locating and removing the screws that hold the panel in place in trear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off.

2. Locate the CCU. On some models the control board is located along either the left or right side panels, or directly behind the wash tub. On other models the board can be located along the cabinet bottom. If located along the cabinet bottom, you will need to remove the back panel of the washer for access.

3. Leave all the connectors attached and pry up on the release tab(s) that hold the assembly in place and remove the board from its mounting surface. This will leave the board free hanging with all the connectors still attached.

4. Snap the new board in place and remove each connector one at a time from the old board and connect to the new one.

This can be a little difficult trying to accomodate a new board while leaving everything attached, but it IS possible. Another method is to use a digital camera and snap a photo of the connector arrangement before removing the old board.

Another reference you can use is the tech sheet that came with the washer. Every one of these washers has a tech sheet located inside the unit for the repair technicians to use. To access, remove the lower toe panel directly below the washer door. The screws are located under the bottom front edge. You may have to prop the two front feet of the unit up for better access (a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel will drop down and come off.

The tech sheet will be located directly behind the toe panel or affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls. The tech sheet includes all troubleshooting data, wiring diagrams, error code definitions, test points, illustrations and diagnostics proceduires. This is a great reference to use for troubleshooting and will have an illustration of the connector layout for the control board.

If you have any questions about this repair, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Konica Minolta Error Code: C14A3 Blown fuse or Exposure Lamp Printer was printing black and suspect it may be the lamp. Where can I get a replacement and instructions on replacing it myself?

Go to a Konica Minolta dealer and ask for assy, the part number is 4980 1001 01 and it is called CCD MODULE. I cannot find only the lamp, you'll have to replace the full assy in which the lamp is included.

Transmission control module, 92 honda accord

It's under the carpet on the passenger's side floor board. There's two boxes under the access panel, I think the TCM is the one on the right? If your's is broken there are probably a couple of capacitors and a resistor that are fried and need to be replaced.
