This driver is provided by Microsoft and is included with the Windows XP os.
Installation instructions: 1: Click START, then click on PRINTERS & FAXES 2: Click on ADD A PRINTER 3: At Welcome screen click NEXT 4: Select LOCAL PRINTER (if printer is attached directly to computer) and click NEXT 5: Choose LPT1 (in most situations) or a different port if not LPT1 then click NEXT 6: Select Apollo in left window 7: Select Apollo P-1200 in right window 8: Click NEXT 9: Type name for printer or accept default name 10: Click No to "Do you want to print test page". 11: Click FINISH 12: Test printer by sending a print job to printer.

Then click on Downloads, then drivers, windows xp home, English, Click on Search.
On the next page, where is says full driver and software package, click on more information.
Finally click on the download button and save the file to your desktop. After the download is done, run the program and that should install the driver properly. If the message comes up about compatibility, just continue it cause it should still go thru.
Copy & paste the above URL into your web browser & that will take you right to the driver download page. Select the red highlighted "Driver Download" for the 1200 series printers. This will send you to the Operating System selection page. Once selected you'll see the red highlighted .exe file. Select "download now". You should see a pop-up asking you to save the file. I like to send downloads to the desktop to facilitate installation of the software. You can later drag & drop it into whatever folder you like.
Make sure to remove the XP drivers before installing the Vista drivers. Also remember to unplug the USB cable from the printer prior to installing the Vista drivers. The installation software will prompt you when to re-install the USB cable.
windows xp home edition has problems running a lexmark, the xp pro dont its a windows problem do you have xp if so when it says needs install dont use the disk let the set up wizard take you to a site to down load the drivers i had to do the same with my X1150 all in one.
