How can I use the evesham N20UK? Do I have to slot any SD Card before it work? There is no SD Card in the slot. Do I need an external SOFTWARE VERSION:G.0704191030M01, and how much is the cost?
THE MAPS SHOULD BE BUILT IN (AA MAPS)
Here is a review you might like to read...
I got the Nav-Cam because of the AA link. This was a mistake
(are you listening, AA?). Here are my big moans (I have many more, but
let them pass).
(1)I had to paint the shiny silver aerial matt black
to stop horrible windscreen reflections. (2) Most times I start it up
it jams and I have to press reset with a paper clip. (3) It takes silly
routes through the centre of towns along the route instead of trying to
avoid them. (4) It is s-l-o-w, and frequently misses the junction I'm
supposed to turn at. (5) The touch screen is hopeless and only works
reliably with the rubber end of a pencil. Trying to scroll using a
fingertip is hopeless. (6) My house and street (built in 2000) are not
on the 2007 map. (7) The Europe maps are a disaster, particularly in
Spain, where it can't tell a dirt track from an ordinary road, and
frequently therefore sends me offroad. (8) The journey timings,
especially in France, are hopelessly optimistic (about 70% of what they
should be). (9) Map updates? What map updates? Since many local road
numbers have been changed recently in France and Spain, this means the
directions it gives are worse than useless.
Conclusion: A complete
waste of money. If you want a Sat Nav, then do yourself a favour: buy
*anything* but this. Better still, buy a map.
