Question about Kenmore 16.7 cu. ft. / 473 liter Upright Freezer 23725
I have a GE Freezer with the Freezer at the bottom, I read some of the post and it sounds as if I am having the same issues as they are with Ice Collecting in the bottom of the freezer.
I have done the clean up, the manual defrost, but the ice just keeps on coming back. After a certain amount of time water will be on the floor under or in front of freezer.
I am very technical, so if I have to get a amp reader please tell me where to start. Thanks RH
Sounds like you have a clogged/frozen defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials)

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
If you Frigidaire freezer is frost free and not defrosting the best thing to do is to manually defrost your appliance. You can do so by disconnecting power from your freezer for two to four hours. If you have a frost free freezer you could be experiencing an issue with thermostat or sensor and they may need to be replaced.
I would recommend reaching out to a professional to come out and diagnosis your freezer to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
