Hi,
Which model do you have ? What is the problem ? What is your set point version ? What is your OS ? Please be more specific
Please use the connect utility to re-sync after battery swap or unexpected disconnection :
ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/
Then depend which version of set point you are using, I recommend you to upgrade to set point 6
setpoint600.exe 23.7 MB 25/02/2010 13:48:00
Then start menu -> Logitech -> Mouse and keyboard -> connect utility
If it does not work check in device manager, what do you have ? If there is any errors/flag then apply the following:
Please uninstall any Set point version present on your OS -
Then please proceed to clean boot.
-> Unplug any USB devices connected to the computer ( Less keyboard + mouse ) If you have a corded keyboard + mouse please use it rather than a cordless device.
-> Go to device manager
-> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them --
-> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation
-> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for new hardware " ( The computer with magnifier icon )
-> Once reinstalled, clean boot
-> Reinstall the software, plug the hardware when needed.
-> Should work.
If a device as been previously flagged with error, it will redetect the device without the flag, unless there is some serious issue with the hardware/OS
If the problem persist, swap computer and try, if it does not solve then contact customer service for replacement
Thanks and have a nice day
Julien
