In order to fix this setting you have to download a video to your psp
1. go to your video on your psp then open it
2.then press ''triangle button '' on your psp
3. browse and you should see ''audio options;
4. then press ''O'' button on psp you shoul see ''left+right'' at left lower corner on your psp
so easy..have fun

or much easy way

when listening to mp3 on your psp try pressing the button beside the left side of ''select button '' on your psp

I put my memory stick to my psp but it will not show on the menu

Hi

Did you buy the stick online or at a store?

There is a chance it may be a fake stick that has been sold as genuine.

If you know its an official stick, try getting some nail varnish remover and pop a bit on the end of an Ear bud, Give the contacts on the stick a wipe (the little gold metal bits at the end)

Give it 2 mins to dry, then try again.

If it doesnt work, then I suggest replacing the memory card as it seems to be faulty.

Thanks

Hi psp works all ok only when loading game in just spins doesnt play.

If you have a PSP 1000 i dont know if you can do this but if you have a 2000 or 3000 try doing this:
1.)Open your UMD drive and try moving the lazer head as close as possible to the motor:maxim615.jpgIf this doesnt help then try reseting your umd drive this is dont by doing this(I'm not the autor of the video and i do not own it)

No sound on psp only sound with headphones

you can check to see if ur speakers are unhooked but it takes patient to get to them and a steady hand! also it could be a hardaware or software issue but look online to see if you can take it apart to the speakers and check some show step by step taking apart the psp!

My psp sound quit working. it went low and now no sound at all.

I take it the volume control doesn’t change it? If the level went down rather fast the Volume decrease button (-) might have gotten stuck down.

Have you tried different set of ear buds (headphones)?

Please help

it sound like the ear socket has developed an intermittant connection problem. It could just have a dry joint where it needs to be resoldered, however, if you dont have the correct tools to fix tghe unit it might be best to leave it in to a repair shop.

Good Luck!

Umd problem

Hi amitpal,

Your Laser lens is dirty. You need to get some foam type ear swabs, not cotton, like Q-tip. You should be abkle to find these at a local drug store. Dampen the swab in something like Windex and swab the lens of the laser. Use the opposite end of the swab which should be dry to polish the lens delicately. This may get you back working again. If not your laser has much more severe problems, and probably needs to be replaced. In this case, click on "Repair Directory" at the bottom of this screen. Then on the next screen select "Video Game Consoles" Pick a repair shop to service your PSP. If you think you want to do it yourself, be aware it is very easy to damage the PSP beyond reasonable repair.
