Actually after some searching it is VERY easy to manage the c250, you just have to know how to connect it. You must connect it to read as MSC format. To do this, put on the hold feature and press and hold the rewind/previous track button as you connect it. This will open it up as a removable disc. So just drag and drop whichever songs you want from the MUSIC folder. You may also delete individual songs that are already on there. Hope this helps, works for me.

Well here nothing wrong with your MP3 player but it has some protection on it. you can see and play the songs on the MP# player but you cant see them when you are your computer this is because the songs came from a different computer. this happens so you can't steel music. The MP3 player dos'nt let you delete songs off the MP3 player one by one. the only way you can delete the songs with out using a computer is to go into settings and choose the format selection. it is going to delete everything off your mp3 player but that is the only way to put new material on it unless you have access to the computer that put the songs on it.

Sansa c250 emty music folder

Your problem is probably a matter of the different storage methods the player uses. Songs transferred via MTP (google it if it doesnt make sense) usually dont show up in the music folder, and the same goes the other way around for songs transferred to the player as a regular usb storage device.

I need to know how to delete songs off my mp3/sansa sandisk c250

Open "My computer", then "Sansa c250 (E:)", find properties to show hidden files and a "Music" file (which is hidden) will appear. You can erase music directly from there.

Cant arrange songs according to my way

I used ID3-TagIT to change the album name of my songs to the name of the folder on my Sansa c250 that I want to put the songs in. Open your Sansa in My Computer, double click on Internal Memory and open the music folder. Add a new folder and name it whatever you put in for the album name of your songs. Highlight all your songs and drag and drop them into your folder. Don't use media player to sync or they end up all mixed up in different folders.

Deleting songs

Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
