How can i display an even number if i enter an odd number in visual basic 6.0

To display an even number when an odd number is entered you can add 1.
n= val(text1.text) 'Take the value of n from the textbox.
If n mod 2 =1 then 'If n is an odd number n=n+1 'You make it an even number end if
text2.text = n 'Display it in another textbox.

Please give a good rating to this answer so that I will be encouraged to support people like you having problems with VB6.

How to do Undo and Redo in Visaul Basic Project ? I wanna do in my application(Project). Suggest me Code for it .

Undo command: if you want an undo command, the best way to do it is to 'send' key strokes to the textbox that you want to use. You will need to send Ctrl+Z. You can do this with this code:
'=========================
'General Declarations
Private Declare Function MapVirtualKey Lib "user32" Alias "MapVirtualKeyA" (ByVal wCode As Long, ByVal wMapType As Long) As Long Private Declare Sub keybd_event Lib "user32" (ByVal bVk As Byte, ByVal bScan As Byte, ByVal dwFlags As Long, ByVal dwExtraInfo As Long)
Private Const KEYEVENTF_KEYUP = &H2
Private Sub Command1_Click() 'The procedure that will run the undo command
Text1.SetFocus 'The textbox that you want to 'undo'
'Send Ctrl+Z
keybd_event 17, 0, 0, 0
keybd_event 90, 0, 0, 0
'Release Ctrl+Z
keybd_event 90, 0, KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0
keybd_event 17, 0, KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0
End Sub
'===================================

Another way to do this is to use the SendKeys statement. However, the API function gives you more control.
'===================================
Private Sub Command1_Click() 'The procedure that will run the undo command
Text1.SetFocus 'The textbox that you want to 'undo'
'Send Ctrl+Z
SendKeys "^Z"
End Sub
'====================================

Java

If you don't already know how to program then i wouldn't start with Java but maybe with Visual Basic. Once you have a good grasp of Basic then you can move onto Java.

If you already know how to program in another language, especially C++ then you will find java to be quite familiar.

In any case your first step would be to go to yoru local book store and buy a book or two. Read through the book while at your computer and try all the examples.

For Visual Basic there are books like this: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Visual-Basic-2008-Step/dp/0735625379/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519837&sr=8-1 or http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Microsoft-Visual-Basic-Guides/dp/0470191341/ref=pd_bbs_sr_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519932&sr=8-6 or http://www.amazon.com/Teach-Yourself-Visual-Basic-Hours/dp/0672329840/ref=pd_bbs_sr_9?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519932&sr=8-9

For Java you may want to check out: http://www.amazon.com/Head-First-Java-Kathy-Sierra/dp/0596009208/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519994&sr=8-1 or http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Programming-Java-Dummies-Computer/dp/0764588745/ref=pd_bbs_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519994&sr=8-7 or http://www.amazon.com/Sams-Teach-Yourself-Java-Days/dp/0672329433/ref=pd_bbs_9?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215519994&sr=8-9

CONNECTING VB TO EXCEL

Here is some code that I found in this book:
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Professional, Step by Step.
By Michael Halvorson
Second Edition.
ISBN: 0-7356-1883-6
Code removed for possible copyright issues.

That program in VB6 will open an Excel workbook, and then insert the data into the cells at B1, B2 and B3.
You can change this to have a textbox show up to ask for info to insert into the cells as appropiate.

If you look at www.microsoft.com/mspress/developer and search there, they may still have some code that you can download.
