Question about Sony NWZ-S616FRED Digital Media Player
Please help me fix my MP3 player NWZ-S615F.
Error message reads: Cannot play; the license is expired

If you have napster just hook it up to ur comp and run napster
it should automaticaly renew ur licence after you sign in

I was experiencing similar probs with trying to transfer original CD's to my Sony Walkman MP3.
Try the following:
Open Windows Media Player - Select RIP / Options / RIP Music Tab & then uncheck the Copy Protect Music option box.
Hope this works.

I have the nwz-a816 and if have had this issue a couple of times... It seems to give me that message on songs I have downloaded from Napster... I just connected it to the computer that the Napster application is on and it corrects this problem... Hope this helps...
