What does error code 011 mean?

error 011 normally means the paper cassette is not fitted properly. Usually the cassette(paper tray) sensor is out of place or the cassette is damaged.

Fax is not answer ...

If the "Mode" was "Tx" or "Snd", you tried to send a fax, and the other fax machine did not answer, then it was either turned off, or out of paper or ink. If the mode was "Rx" or "Rcv", it means your fax machine tried to receive a fax, but none was sent. If your machine was in TEL/FAX or FAX mode and it received a regular call, the caller heard the fax tone and hung up. If your machine was in ANS/FAX or EXT.TAM mode, it most likely means a regular voice caller heard the answering machine and hung up without leaving a message.

Alarm - check cassette info code 011 - what is

The tab on the base of the paper cassette is broken off.

How to cheat it:

Remove the paper cassette
remove the tray in the back
remove the toner cartridge
set the machine upright

Wad up a small piece of electrical tape and shove it into the small black u-shaped sensor on the left side bottom.

it should work OK after this.

Fax machine with error code. Panasonic UF-780. Error: "Check cassette info code = 011"

you broke the tab on the back of the paper cassette. if you look in where the cassette goes on the back left you will see a hole with a sensor that looks kinda like a upside down letter U . put paper inbetween the sensor and the machine should say out of paper and put the cassette back and you should be fine

I got Panafax UF-595 and this fax keeps saying "check cassette info code=011" and does nothing else. What am I supposed to do to make it work?

There is a small plastic tab broken off of the front of the paper cassette.

Remove the paper cassette
remove the rear brown tray
remove the toner
set the machine on it's back side
wad up a small piece of electrical tape

stick the tape in the black U-shaped photo sensor at the bottom left corner of the machine to cheat it.

Panafax uf-790 - info code = 011

Check cassette refers to the paper cassette. If there is no paper or the cassette is not seated correctly, then you will get that error. If you tried those, then check the left rear of the cassette for a tab. If that tab is broken off you will get this error and you need a new paper cassette. Good luck.

Just wont go

1 On the end of the paper cassette is a broken off tab. Turn the machine on it's back. You will see a black u-shaped photo sensor that this tab goes into. Stuff a small piece of electrical tape in there. 2. Press Function/ 7/ monitor key slowly 4 times/ star/ 6 scroll down to shipment set/ 2/ press set (fax will reboot)
