Question about Lands Phones
Siemens A55.... I was texting and my phone switched off. when i switch it back on it keeps saying wrong software and switches off again..It has never done this before
This is most likely a cracked solder joint on the baseband CPU - you basically need to take the PCB out, remove the screening covers and the keyboard/display and reheat the CPU with hot air - it needs to get hot enough to reflow the solder on the under side, but not so hot you destroy components - about 280c is good, and use foil to screen the other parts so as not to cook them.
The CPU is the big square chip in the top of this photo (this is from the back of the board with the cover and the screening cans removed).
