How do I delete my email address from an old computer

Use CCleaner first. If you no longer want your account on the old PC, go to Control Panel, System, Advanced, on the User Profiles, click settings and delete your account there. All files under that account will be deleted.

How to recover shortcut files from a flash drive or memory card

Ever experienced plugging your flash drive or memory card and found that your files have been made shortcut and when you tried opening the file nothing happens? Here is one solution that can recover your files.
1. when you plug your flash drive and see the shortcut files, do not delete the files as it will take longer time to recover it. Take note of the drive that reads your flash drive. (see the highlighted text)

2. on the start menu, type cmd (command prompt)ninyarica.jpg

ninyarica_0.jpg

3. open the command prompt window which looks like this
ninyarica_1.jpg

4. then on the c prompt type: chkdsk (name of the drive of the flash drive {e.g. g or d}) the command prompt will look like this:ninyarica_3.jpg

5. then you will see the following words on the command promptninyarica_4.jpg

6. wait until it is completed
7. then type exit, to close the command prompt window
8. check your flash drive now, the shortcut files have been recovered.
9. now, you need to clean your flash drive to remove the virus. You have to have a good antivirus to do this.
10. you can now delete the shortcut files if it not removed automatically by the antivirus you used to clean the flash drive.
these steps helped recover my files from my flash drive. Hope it will help you too.

if the steps above did not work or did not recover your shortcut files, you can try this alternative
11. on the command prompt, type: attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* your command prompt window will look like this: ninyarica_6.jpg

12. wait until it is finished or until you see: ninyarica_7.jpg

13. then exit the command prompt window then check the files on your flash drive, not only will it recover the shortcut files but it will also recover some deleted folders
