Hi my Ford transit custom radio won't turn on after flat battery I've checked all fuses ?

You need to input the radio security code, when battery power is lost the radio goes into theft lock.

Car radio not turn after battery change

if the radio doesn't come on at all, I would start with checking the fuses for the radio, if the fuse in the car is good, sometimes radios have a fuse built into the radio, usually you have to pull the deck out to access it. check car fuse first, make sure its not blown.

make sure the radio doesnt display "code"

did you accidentally hook the battery terminals up backwards for a second when installing the battery, or when jump starting?

Radio dose not work

It can be issue with radio fuse or wiring issue of radio.
First test the radio fuse.If its blown out, then replace it.If the fuse i checked ok,then its radio wiring issue.Test the voltage.

2000 ford focus. the battery went dead. after jumping it the radio wont come on. I was told it needs to be reset but there is nothing in the manual to tell you how

It would ask for a code. Sounds like a blown fuse. You actually have 2 fuses that run the radio, one that is listed as Radio, and one that has a constant voltage on it. Look at Cigar lighter, or dome light, or some other fuse that would always have power on it.

2004 ford taurus ses

Wich fuse for the radio system would you like to replace? There are 6 of them. Your integrated control panel (dash unit) is controlled by the rear electronic module. This is all part of the multiplexed computer network in your car. I would recommend BEGINNING diagnosis of your radio by scanning your computer network for fault codes, then go from there...

Even if there is a blown fuse, this is an indication that there is an electrical failure which must be diagnosed and repaired. Blown fuses do not cause electrical component failures. Electrical component failures cause blown fuses. Replacing a blown fuse without diagnosing and correcting the fault that made it blow will only result in another blown fuse.

The radio in my 1992 ford ranger has stopped working i believe its a blown fuse, but i dont know which fuse works for the radio.

Hello prettygal842
In the fuse block under the dash left of the steering column, fuse #1 15amp is for the radio station
memory. Fuse #11 15amp is for radio power. Hope this is helpful.

Battery was replaced and dome lights and radio do not work. Does this mean a fuse is blown?

if those are the only accessories not working after the battery was replaced, then yes, check for a blown fuse. does your radio require a security code after losing power? that would be another consideration, if the fuse is good.
