You can reset the Sansa Clip by sliding up the Power/Lock button and holding it there for 15 seconds. You can download the complete user manual from this link.
You could try opening the folder(s) with your saved music and highlight all the ones you want to transfer to your mp3 player and then right click on one of the highlighted files, left click on Copy, then go to My Computer > Sansa e250 mp3 player should be listed in there, double click on it, then right click in a open white area and left click Paste. It should copy the music right to your player. You could also try using Rhapsody and import your music into it. I use Rhapsody for transferring music to my e250 Sansa mp3 player.
