Ring Tune compatability

Phone supports MP3 files to play as Ring tone. I took a song on my computer and cut it using a program I found online. The file is 10s long and very small, both my laptop and phone can play the clip but my phone will not use it as a ring tone.

Nvm, I figured it out. thanks for the link but apparently my retailer (Rogers Canada) impelements a file protection on files that can be used as ring tunes. Basically forcing you to buy them. but I found another thread with the solution here :http://cellphoneforums.net/sony-ericsson...

How do I load a free ring tone to my nokia mobilephone

If you don't have a ring tone yet you can download one for free from www.zedge.net
Then you can upload it to your phone via USB cable or bluetooth (requires a bluetooth adapter and a bluetooth compatible phone) or you can download them directly from zedge.net using your phone

Another way to get a ring tone is to browse the zedge's ringtones on your computer and when you find one you like, press download to mobile and follow the instructions provided.

How to change ring tone? Lost manual.

usually this is done one of two ways
if the phone has a menu button
press it once then use the arrow keys until you see "ring" or "ring tone" in the display
then use the arrow keys again and you should hear different ring tones. when you find the one you like press the menu button to lock it in

if the phone has a program button and no menu button
keep pressing the program button until you see "ring tone" in the display.then use the arrow keys until you hear the ring tone you like. then press the program button several times until you exit the programming mode.

you can follow the above steps to set the ringer volume also

OneTel OT150 Plus Manual required

Hello Mark

To change the ringtone on the main phone just press and hold the "volume" key at the bottom of your keypad. Took me ages until I found the manual for my phones... also online support is non-existent for this line of telephones.

Hope this helps!

HOW DO I ADD SONGS TO MY MOTOROLA VE240

In my V-750, I just formatted the MicroSD card from my cell phone and put it into my computer, then dragged the MP3 files to the My Music folder. I didn't need any Motorola CD. Note the order, I first tried to just put the MP3 files on the MicroSD and it didn't work.

Later, I went to the Big Box store they suggested on the Motorola web site and I think I paid $20 for the official USB to Mini USB cable that fits my cell with software to make ring tones and transfers.

How to change the incomming ring tone on panasonic kx-t7630

Oh hell... you must be going nuts if its the ring tone I think you're stuck with. I loath the manual that comes with this system so here it is in English:
  • Press 'Prog'
  • Press 'Intercom' twice
  • Now you can either go through the different ring tones by pressing 'SEL' on the LCD screen or using the Up and Down keys on the circular pad on the bottom right of the phone.
  • Once you have the tone you like click on 'Enter'
  • Pick up handset and hangup to complete the process.

Free Downloads for ZTE C79 Cell Phone from MetroPCS

WHat up? Ok to get the ringtones to your phone (which I have searched for two days to find a solution) do the following

1.) get your desired .mp3, or .mid ringtone file and have it on your pc.
2.) log into your email (yahoo, hotmail, etc), create an email and attach the .mp3 file. Make sure the .mp3 file in under 500k in size.
3.) in to TO: box enter the following ,<yourphonenumber>@mymetropcs.com and send it.
4.) check your message box when your phone chimes.
5.) press the Get button to download the file to your phone. If your file is over 500k it may not download.
6.)Now go to your inbox
7.) press the Browse button to stop the file from playing.
8.) make sure the file is selected, press the Up button (Top outter ring of the middle menu button)
9.) press the options button, select "use higlighted object" and save it to your phone.
10.) the file will now be in the MyTUnes folder and you can now set it as your main ringtone or a contact ring tone. (I'm typing this from memory so my menu selection names may be off a little but this shold get yall going. I was HYPE when I found this solution. I'm now searching on how to get the games on it.

Hope this helps!

I have a zte c79 cellphone that has an mp3. player the phone came without the software disk to install the program that enables me to transfer mp3's and pictures. however it came with the USB cord. but...

when you plug in the usb cord somtimes i'll get a box asking what i want to use windows media player or open a folder with the contense. Then some times i get the add new hardware wizard which doesnot find the program to run the hardware correctly.
so the only way i found to load mp3s onto the ZTE C79 is to get a micro sd car and reader. when i plug i in a box comes up with the same results windows media player or a folder option i click the folder option. and if you have mp3s in your windows media player then right click on a song and open file location it will then tell you wether they are mp3 format or wahat drag and drop the mp3 format songs into the my music folder which is in the removable disk folder . As long as they are mp3 they will play on the phone. as for ringtones the only way i found to load them is to actually record them with the record memo tool in tools. which sucks because they usually end up being all distorted or very low volume. So if anyone know how to load ringtones please let me know

Where do I find the ring tones for a sgh-a737 phone

Read Everything Before Doing Anything!
(This is What I did and I now make my own ringtones for free and i use which ever part of the song i like and i mean any song) Important You Must Have A USB Cable And Memory Card For Your Phone If You Don’t See Third:)
First: Use The Program -Audacity- (You can get it at Download.com free software) To Cut Your Favorite Part of A Song -Max- (15 Seconds Long Only) (Not 15 And A Half Or 16 Just 15 Okay Or Less If You Want, No Longer!) C’mon Im Avoiding You Frustation of “It Didn’t Work” Boohoo. It Won’t Work If You Try And Do It Longer.
Second: Install - Open Program - Drag and Drop Song - Cut Your Favorite 15 Seconds - Export As WAV - Change To MP3 Using Windows Converter (Just Right Click The Song And Convert (WindowsXP) or Use MusicMatch) 128bit is fine. How Ever You Do It Just Make It Into An MP3 Format.
Third: Use A USB Cable (If you Dont Have One Buy One At Cellphoneshop.com its the cheapest way trust me find what you need ( Memory Card 2GB and USB CABLE) Use Coupon Code: merryxmas10 or merryxmas20 for a 10% or 20% discount which ever works. Just Do It Regular Mail Only For Codes Will Take About 10 Days To Get.
Fourth: Using Your USB Cable Plug Your Phone Into Computer And Copy And Paste The Cut 15 Seconds Of The Song Into (Audio) And You Have Your Self-Made Ringtone.
These Are The Steps I took to do this and it worked for me and there is no reason why it shouldn’t work for you NO REASON JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS.
