I have a camera Canon A590is, that is not being recognize by the laptop. In the device manager the "Canon Digital Camera" has a yellow marker. After trying to reinstall the driver, a error message "Cannot install this hardware" apperars along with "The Data is invalid" What can I do to fix this problem. Already trie dby reinstalling the camera SW (Zoom browser...) Thank you, Milton

    Thank you for the answer.
    Oh I completely forgot to include the windows XP SP3 and the laptop is a Dell D630.
    I already tried that, same results "The data is invalid" and the icon in the device manager remains yellow under "imaging device" canon digital camera.

You didn't say what operating system you are using in your PC. If you have Windows XP or later follow these instructions. Since you apparently have the driver and software on a CD, unplug the camera from your PC, remove the camera software from the PC, remove the driver using the Device manager, restart the PC, then plug your camera into the USB port. Allow the operating system to find the correct driver when it notifies you of finding a "New Device". Normally that will solve the problem. If it does not, then reload the software.

if the lcd is flexible then mostly the problem is with lcd connector.if you have a v cable then connect it to tv and see if picture is coming, if it comes then connector is faulty for sure
