FUJI F20 Won't Power Up - Good and Charged Battery

With a good and fully charged battery (checked for 3.6V after charge), this camera won't power up, nor show red led when it should charging battery. I charged battery externaly. Battery is inserted properly. Camera was working fine until it went 4 months in the drawer when battery runned out.

Is there any place I can send for repair?

My Fuji Finepix F20 also will not power up. I recharged the old battery, then purchased and charged a new battery. Still will not power up. Can the camera be fixed?

lens retracts fully into the body and is protected by an automatic metal cover - no more lost or dangling lens caps.
The F410 Zoom makes use of the new xD-Picture Card media that is smaller than a postage stamp. Fuji supplies a 16MB card and they are available now up to 256MB. The F410 is powered by a small proprietary lithium rechargeable battery. This battery pack performed well in our use and if the color LCD is used sparingly, I see no problem with the battery delivering enough power for a conservative day's use. As with any camera that uses a proprietary battery pack, it is always a good idea to purchase and carry a charged spare at all times. The included power supply / charger is an auto switch type and operates on 100-240V AC which is convenient when traveling. It charges the battery in 3 hours (or less) while in the camera and also functions as an AC power supply for extended use at home. The battery is also charged any time the camera is placed in the optional camera dock.

I have a Finepix xp50, with a fully charged, correctly installed battery, that won't turn on. It worked intermittantly for awhile. We have 3 batteries for this camera thinking it was the battery

Be sure your battery is in the right way. Try reversing it. My battery has 3 rounded corners and one square corner. The square corner goes against the latch.

I have a brand new Nikon D3100. The battery was fully charged and placed in the camera. I took about 4 photos, and then turned the camera off. When I turned it back on the battery wasn't working to...

The solution to your problem is simple, Kathrynbax.

The battery never comes in fully charged. It's always charged only so you may be able to check if your camera is working. I suggest, you take out your battery and put it to charge for exactly 90 minutes as the manual says. Then I'm sure you won't face any such problems.

Hope this solves your problem.

Good day!

My fujifilm z33 wp will not turn on-have charged the battery fully - it kept turning itself off before and now will not turn on

You won't believe this. I had the same problem with it not turning on. Charged the battery, cleaned the heads, made sure installed properly... asked my son the tech wiz and he figured it out.

Weirdly enough, you need to hold down the preview mode (arrow in box under "T") WHILE you are powering it on. It works now!

My old Panasonic Palmcorder IQ shows a red light in both switch positions-camera and VCR. Maybe yours has red for camera and green for VCR so you could tell them apart. I found that the Panasonic battery that came with the camera was the cheapest kind with the least charging time. I bought other batteries, they were good for a while, but now, many years later, they won' t hold a charge. Since I am only recording inside of my house, I have resorted to using the AC wall socket for power. I have to take the battery out of the camera. I found a power plug-in hole (like ones on cell phones) in the battery compartment. I also found one of these holes on my battery charger. My camera came with a double ended power plug. I plug one end into my camera and the other end into the battery charger. I plug the charger power cord into the wall outlet, and I have power to my older camera. Maybe you can find this double ended power cord at a store or on line.

Did you know that there are 2 kinds of batteries? Some have memories and others do not rely on a memory. The ones with memories have to be fully discharged or they will only charge a little, and keep charging less and less each time they are charged. The ones without the memory can be charged fully without being discharged fully. Check into battery information on line to get more information. Maybe you can get the non-memory kind.

Fuji F10 No power

You said that you changed the battery, did you put it in the right way around?.

I had exactly the same trouble, changed the battery (got it on ebay for £2.99) charged it and it worked.

Having said that, I closed the lense from external power. If the camera wont operate from external power then the camera is probably dead.
