Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Hi, I just brought home a Duet and have been getting the H F alarm almost every load. The control panel isn't resetting and attempting to spin out water won't start. The inside is dark and doesn't look overly filled with water. Sound familar.
What I discovered in attempting to see if there was a water level visible in the door, was that in briefly tilting the machine the panel then resets and I can start a new cycle to either rinse or spin out the current load and the door will open also.
I will be checking tomorrow with a level to see if the machine is not level and may be affecting the water level monitor.

F/H No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.
If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.
If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
If there is no water in the unit:
1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
3. Verify inlet valve operation
If there is water in the unit:
1. Verify Drain pump operation
2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
Verify there is not a siphon problem
Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check all hoses for possible leaks
Verify pressure switch operation
Verify flow meter operation
Verify CCU operation.

F/H is a water inlet issue, either no water is going in. or too much water has gone into machine, whithout thripping off the fill switch. . usally the doorcant be opened if water level is too high, so look through the glass. Is it full of water???? if so set to the drain spin cycle and get rid of water

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...
