Sounds like a "filter capacitor" in your power supply. This is probably the largest capacitor on the main board and should be near where the power cord enters into the tv. A capacitor is round and tall, sort of like a miniature cattle farmers grain bin. Take it out and order a new one. You will need to write down two things: the voltage rating and the number of microfarads denoted by the symbol "u". For example, a "2500u at 250 volts. It will have two pins soldered into the board. Desolder, remove, and replace and resolder. Keever

Even after my olympus mini digital battery is fully charged it doesn't work for long

This is probably because the battery has been worn down after many charges or because it has been over-charged.
When charging devices with batteries you have to make sure that you don't over-charge them.
It happens though, batteries do degrade over time and the amount of charge it holds becomes lower.
The only solution I can think of is changing the battery or buying a new camera.
Hope this helps.

My LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone is overheated

Definitley your batery had developed reverse polarity and so it will not reain or take in charge. hence the battery will consume more power resulting in this message and it might alsoo be dangerous to keep this on. I would advise you to put in new battery and do the intial charging as required. Keep it on for 8-12 hours of chrage then discharge offf in use fully and rechage again. Repeat this for three time before your battery becomes fully functional. hope this helps. Good day

Samsung flight quit charging

Try charging the phone until it has finished charging.connect the charger and charge for 2.5 hours.
The battery icon on the screen may not appear for 30 mins.

You can also go to a dealers and ask to try a new battery, or and a different charger.
If none of the above work ring your network supplier and ask for a replacement phone.

Phone dies after only texting maybe three or four times even though it was just taken off the charger.

How old is the phone? These kinds of batteries need to be handled with care. Meaning, for the battery life to be high, you must fully charge phone, then use the phone till the battery is dead, then fully charge again. Do not charge if there is still juice in the battery and do not take off charger after only partially charging the phone. This will help maintain the life of the battery.

Phone appears to lose power entirely, though fully charged

The radio drains the battery as it has to activate a receiver and power up the audio sound. This quite normal here.If it was lasting more before then you may also consider changing the battery.

Kodak Easy Share z712 IS not detecting charged battery

I have the exact same camera almost a year too. It is a total "swinka" on batteries. About 10-15 shots on super ni-cads, and quits without warning.

A pair of Energizer 7X gave me near 500 shots. Much cheaper but still ...

So 4 months ago I bought a charger and 2 rechargeables. Charge one while using the other one.
I may get 70-90 shots per charge on these lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, without flash.

Testing the batteries without a load doesn't really tell you anything.
What's the reading? Should be well over 4 volts when fully charged. Mine show 4.2V

Samsung SGH-T219 Turns off even though it says fully charged.

It may be that the phone is detecting the wrong level of battery power, it can be a software bug - so check for firmware updates on Samsung's website. If you get no where with that, it's likely to be a hardware fault in which case, look up the warranty and see if you can get it repaired.
